This song, The Road, by the band Travel by Sea has a couple interesting points. The lead singer sounds exactly like Joey Burns of calexico, one of my favorites; in fact I had to lookup the band to see if it was a side project of his. It also features a pretty hot lead guitar part which is rare these days new music. The beginning and ending are kind of atmospheric but give it a shot.
Aloe Blacc’s “I need the dollar” as recorded in the studio. Soothing aloe.

“Powderfinger” by Neil Young from Chrome Dreams (Rust Edition)
I distinctly remember cutting a day of HS just to repeatedly listen to Chrome Dreams. Like a Hurricane, Pocahontas, Sedan Delivery, Powerfinger, Look Out for My Love.
A breathtaking stream of creativity from Neil Young on this album. You kids need to download it in full.
Originally written as an appeasement to lynyrd skynyrd.
Here’s some good old time rock n roll from one Middle Brother to all the others out there.
